Located in the Fannerie building, the Musée d'Art Moderne houses over 800 works from an exceptional donation by Martine and Léon Cligman. The museum brings together paintings, drawings and sculptures from different cultures and periods, including Toulouse-Lautrec, Edgar Degas, Maurice de Vlaminck, Albert Marquet, Robert Delaunay... as well as antiques and objects from other continents. The original scenography invites visitors to assemble and confront, juxtapose and contrast.

Inaugurated in May 2021, the Musée d'Art Moderne de Fontevraud is located in the Fannerie building at Fontevraud-L'Abbaye. It houses an impressive collection of modern art by the couple Martine and Léon Cligman. These collectors donated 800 works from their personal collection to enrich the heritage and cultural dimension of Fontevraud. Here, you'll discover paintings by Toulouse-Lautrec, Juan Gris and many other artists. Drawings and sculptures from the 19th and 20th centuries are also on display. The house is also home to antique and non-European objects. An interesting address to visit!
