Two words: Lazy Cooking. Restaurant pretends to be a gastronomic place but the reality is far different. For the starters we took gambas and terrine de poisson, the gambas was very old and mushy, so bad that my wife spat it out. Should be illegal to serve that to customers. The terrine was edible but seemed to be old too and the quality of it was on supermarket level. Very disappointing. But unfortunately worse was yet to come. For the main course my wife ordered vegetarian dish asparagus and I ordered chicken with morels for 7€ extra. The chicken was alright but it was outdated, perhaps from Cook book from 1900's not worth the money and definitely not worth that extra 7€ especially for what seemed to be frozen morels. My wife's dish on the other side was disappointment on another level because the asparagus was pickled big white asparagus you can buy in jars from supermarket. We could still feel the vinegar out of it. It was disgusting and of course she couldn't finish it. For the desert I took cheese and my wife I don't even remember anymore. Something with strawberries. The cheese was low quality and of course my wife didn't finish her desert because it was just not good. Throughout our meals we got served old bread from week before , we find it weird because we reserved for Tuesday evening when restaurant reopened after weekend. So I guess they were not bothered to order new bread from bakery, they rather serve old one. Very very disappointed by this restaurant, it's pity because the hotel where it's located is very nice and cosy. We enjoy our stay in hotel and you will too, just steer away from this restaurant. We paid 120€ in total but I tell you that I really didn't want to pay that bill. Chef seems to be without experience in the field, lazy , cutting corners to save money on each dish. Shame

Dîner en famille sur recommandation de l hôtel où nous logions à candes Saint Martin.

A 4 en terrasse pour le premier week end ensoleillé de mai.
La terrasse est attenante au parc du domaine, jolie vue et calme.
Les plats sont bons et bien exécutés.

Le service un peu décousu par moment mais c était plein. Le personnel est serviable et à l écoute.

Très bon rapport qualité/prix
Le seul bémol le mobilier extérieur pourrait être plus confortable.
