Five minutes from the town centre, the museum is naturally located in an old cloth bleaching factory dating from 1881. It is a living museum, since it has taken over the production of handkerchiefs abandoned by the Turpault Establishments, thus perpetuating a centuries-old tradition and know-how. From the fibre to the cloth, you will follow... the thread, along the stages of manufacture, from machines in working order to the garden of textile and dye plants.

Le textile a permis de développer la ville de Cholet et faire d'elle ce qu'elle est aujourd'hui. Il a malheureusement presque disparu mais le musée permet d'en garder le souvenirs
It is a beautiful museum and very interesting, I appreciate the different themes that they do. There is also a collection of plants for the textile.
