Excellent bistro cuisine in a restaurant a few steps from the train station in Angers.
We still love the atmosphere and setting of this bistronomic restaurant, just a stone's throw from the station, masterfully run by Alexandre Tessier. The mustard pâté-croûte (a local specialty) is a must-try, before moving on to pork loin, mashed potatoes and sherry sauce or braised turbot and saffron-creamed fumet for omnivores, or arancini, wild garlic and broad beans for vegetarians. The desserts are top-notch, with a perfect combination of strawberry, rhubarb, citron and fromage blanc. Solid on the plate and in the glass!
