SENS
Delicious cuisine from chef Nicolas Adamopulos to be enjoyed in a restaurant in Angers.
Now nestled in the heart of La Doutre, the Sens gourmet restaurant almost feels like a speakeasy. Once you've passed through the solid wood door next to the bao counter, the lair of chef and owner Nicolas Adamopoulos opens up. Under the vaulted ceilings of this former 12th-century chapel, exposed stonework, bluish-toned walls and carpeting enchant us with their elegance and serenity. In terms of cuisine, the menu is divided into 4 to 6 regularly changing sequences. The Sunday roast chicken-style floating island opens the ball. This is followed by a pretty pearly scallop with foraged cabbage, a Challans duck pie and a dessert combining oats... and mushrooms. As for the cellar (but not only), let yourself be carried away: sommelier Stéphane is sure to surprise you.
