General bookshops Vertou

Lise & Moi is the story of two booksellers by training and profession - Anne-Lise and Marion - who joined forces to open their own bookshop in mid-2014. Located in the town of Vertou, it is the only independent bookstore belonging to the ALIP network (Association des Librairies Indépendantes de Pays de la Loire) in the area. So, it has quickly found its readers, especially since the young women have only one idea in mind: to democratize books: "We would like it to be as easy to buy a book as a loaf of bread. We are accessible to everyone. In their shelves, more than 11,000 references: novels, thrillers, essays, comics... but also a large choice of books for children. There is also a stationery corner with pretty notebooks and pencils and a range of educational and family games (puzzles, board games, etc.). Anne-Lise and Marion organize many activities to encourage people to come and visit: philosophy and sophistry conferences, book club, meetings with authors, story time, plastic arts, musical awakening... The animations take place in the pleasant basement, arranged as a lounge. Don't hesitate, they are free.
