Very nice restaurant offering a formula with fruits and vegetables from local producers.
The little Coelho has grown up well since Fred and Thierry pushed the walls, recovering those of the neighbouring restaurant La Marmite des Capucins. The Coelho now offers 72 seats, to which are added the 40 seats on the very pleasant and charming patio. The reception is also charming. And the decoration, well, for a change, we will say that it is very nice, all in simplicity and sobriety, with the little touch of exoticism that makes you feel good. And what do you eat at the Coelho? A simple cuisine, à la carte or formula, with as much as possible products from local producers for the fruit and vegetables, like that day the potatoes grenaille, which perfectly accompanied the roast veal. On Friday and Saturday evenings, the atmosphere is more relaxed, and you can happily take out your darts, or even warm up your voice during the evenings with lively music. You will have understood it, the Coelho, it is the beautiful address of Machecoul to (re) discover, all in... simplicity!
