Address with bar on the roof terrace offering French cuisine with fresh, local and organic products
Marius, after taking possession of the old casino, quai Leray a few months ago, continues its mission as an epicurean place and continues to offer gourmet breaks in a refined, elegant and very Art Deco decor. This building dating from 1896 has been completely refurbished by its owners, Solenn and Gildas Sibiril, the former managers of La Poissonnerie du Mole. For this new adventure, the couple has taken up the ambitious challenge of offering a continuous service 7 days a week, until 1 a.m., with French cuisine made from fresh, local and even organic products. You can enjoy bites of scallops à la reine, a pâté en croûte or a Marius fish soup as an appetizer, before continuing with a cod back in a seaweed pesto crust, a buttery marine emulsion with citrus fruit flavours or even honey-lacquered ribs from the Basque Country. For dessert, the autumn pear and caramel vanilla opera or the apple puff pastry Tatin style should make you want to come back for more. Also note that the bar on the roof terrace allows you to enjoy a pleasant view while sipping a cocktail.
