LA COMPAGNIE DES LAVANDIERES
A washerwoman was a woman who washed clothes mainly with ashes and hot water, then by hand or with a beater, in a stream or a washhouse. She also took care of all the housekeeping. The Compagnie des lavandières wishes to revive the tradition and know-how of yesteryear. In fact, both washermen and washerwomen are present in this company in order to take care of our interiors by sharing essential values: flexibility, proximity, reactivity and trust. For each of your desires, they take up the challenge. Clean and healthy interiors, tidying up or managing laundry, shopping and meals. Taking care of our home is their job! Here in Nantes we are supported by Anne Guérin who manages the laundry staff at our service. The washerwomen are employed for 35 hours and on permanent contracts by the individuals, this contract of trust ensuring them a real follow-up and quality employee! In addition to human, citizen and eco-responsible values (in particular a 100% French range of ecological cleaning products), a quality charter promises us to be satisfied or satisfied and 5% of the profits are given to associations to fight against violence against women.
