Since 2004, the Association The Time for Roof offers solutions of intergenerational shared settlements and solidarity. It allows people of all ages (18 to 65 years) - young students or employees, persons in training or in the process of separation - to be accommodated in individuals - seniors, alone or isolated. In exchange for free housing loan, the tenant brings small services to his host (evening attendance, race, housework, meal sharing). This initiative provides intergenerational links, while providing solutions to the isolation of the elderly and housing shortages. The association states that the meeting is positive for both persons in 90% of cases. But it takes 2 months of preparation to find the right people and the good agreements, so anticipate!
