AGENCE NATIONALE D'AMÉLIORATION DE L'HABITAT (ANAH)
A State public establishment established in 1971, the National Agency for Habitat Improvement (ANAH) is tasked with implementing the national policy for the development and improvement of the existing private housing park. In particular, it combats unhealthy and degraded habitat. In practical terms, it encourages the execution of work by granting grants to owners, landlords and condominium owners (for work on common parts and common equipment). It can assist municipalities, tenants who wish to work on standards of decency or adapted to disability, as well as HOUSING organizations. Other conditions on the type of accommodation and work are required: the work must be a minimum amount of EUR 1 500, that they belong to the list of approved works, or that the accommodation has been completed for at least 15 years, etc.
