Since 1969, the Association of Friends and Parents of Persons with Mental disabilities in Loire-Atlantique (white butterflies) is campaigning for people with mental disabilities, adults and children, and their families, for their full development and social inclusion. Its institutions and services cover the education, training, professional life, habitat, care, accompaniment and leisure sectors. Organized in 8 territorial sections, it welcomes and accompanies nearly 2 500 persons with disabilities.
