Since 2013, on a 2,600 ^m2 campus, CinéCréatis has the double advantage of being located on the Ile de Nantes and at the same time owning a residence, the Artémisia, for students above the school. Created by Jean Coindet 20 years ago, it trains around 150 students who are the future professionals of the audiovisual industry, the different professions of the cinema and new image technologies. All the high quality equipment inherent to a high-performance training of future image and multimedia professionals, including a 300 m² film set, sound and editing boxes, are available to students. The 3-year audiovisual training allows students to acquire and develop solid knowledge, real know-how, creativity and good interpersonal skills. Please note: Candidates apply from Bac level upwards and are selected after studying their academic record and a motivation interview.

Established in the heart of Nantes since 1985, the Pivaut School is a private school of applied arts and narrative drawing with 700 students in seven training courses supervised by a pedagogical team of 80 teachers and professionals. A true pillar of artistic education in Nantes, this school has based its reputation on traditional courses where the gesture joins the idea with a real deepening. The various courses (from BTS to Bac +5) prove to be good business cards when looking for a job. Located in the Machinery District of the Island, Audencia Sciences Com is a higher education institution specializing in communication and media. Founded in 1984, it is part of the Audencia group (Nantes Business School) and welcomes 400 students. It is aimed at young graduates, thanks to media or communication training courses, bac + 2 to bac + 5. Young people can thus validate their skills in com' (SMEs and institutions, international, citizenship and promotion of territories, corporate image, brand communication and digital marketing, etc.) or media (journalism and content production, media management, digital media). It is also higher education with a European and international focus through seminars, internships or courses in partner schools in 19 countries. The teaching team is mainly made up of professionals. Anchored in the urban life facing the Loire River in the heart of the Ile de Nantes, the school, with its building designed in 2008 by Lacaton & Vassal, is undoubtedly an essential pillar of the Creation district. This public establishment is one of the 20 French schools that prepare students for the State Diploma in Architecture. Several cycles are offered there leading to a bachelor's degree, a master's degree, a professional certification or a doctorate. These include the DPEA in naval architecture or scenography, the professional M2 in "Cities and Territories", the HMONP (Habilitation à la maîtrise d'oeuvre en son nom propre) or the dual curriculum in architecture and engineering.

The establishment, located on the Ile de Nantes, in the heart of the Quartier de la Création, has classrooms, large trays, passageways, an amphitheatre, a specialized library, a centre open to the public of more than 900 m² including a resource centre, an art gallery and a collection of contemporary art, an exhibition gallery and a solidarity grocery store, all in a decor that honors transparency and past industrial elements. The 4,300 m² of workshops are devoted to research and experimentation in all areas of the visual arts: construction, image and print divisions. Equipped with a circular table that is both large and original to say the least, the school's large forecourt is intended to become a public space. Another objective is to share and create common projects with neighbouring schools (archi, graphic arts centres, etc.). This site will enable the school to increase its student numbers to 500 in the medium term, 30% of whom are foreigners. 2,000 students of all ages and their teaching teams occupy the spaces dedicated to higher education, public courses and artistic education.
