The Crédit municipal de Nantes has existed for more than 200 years, formerly known as the Mont de Piété. The objective of this establishment is always the same: to help people in financial difficulty. Crédit municipal is the only banking institution accredited to lend by pledge. You deposit a valuable object (jewellery, watchmaking, silverware...) and in exchange, you benefit from a loan determined according to the value of the property. In principle, you have 6 months to repay the loan and recover your property, but this period can be extended. 90% of the objects are recovered by their owner. The others are sold by auction (about once a month in Nantes, it will make some people happy). In addition to this very specific activity, the Municipal Credit offers micro-credits, and credit repurchases. With Reducto, smile again!
