The Nuit du Jazz de la Cité des Congrès celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2019! Music played by the 18 musicians of the West Coast Big Band led by Jean-Philippe Vidal, who welcome international guests every year. For the 20 years, they brought the great composers of the 20th century into the spotlight. In the spotlight: George Gershwin, Cole Porter, or Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind and Fire. But also Frenchmen like Aznavour, Trenet, or Distel, whose hits are among the jazz standards. La Nuit du jazz is also an academy for amateurs, who come from far and wide to take part in monthly "concert conferences" organized from January to October. We are languishing in 2020!
