It was in 2009, on the occasion of the Estuaire Contemporary Art Biennial, that the Absence Café was born. Originally, it was a work of inhabited art installed in front of the National Superior School of Architecture. The building halfway between a blue cloud, an iceberg or even the house of Barbapapa, has been able to make its place and seduce nantes and tourists who come to the day snack, enjoy a drink, admire the landscape or a expo and enjoy the calm of the place. In the evening, the Absence turns into a concert café and welcomes Djs and groups. Please note that coffee is discreet and eclipse in winter, to better appear in the beautiful days.
