Inspired by the numerous washboats that circulated on the Erdre in the 19th century, Le Bateau Lavoir was born from the imagination of François Delarozière and Pierre Oréfice, the two creators of the Compagnie des Machines. This immobile boat, located on the banks of the Erdre, in front of the Prefecture, takes up the codes of the guinguettes of yesteryear. Popular with the people of Nantes, it is certainly a festive and friendly place where you can taste local and organic beers and wines, cocktails, tapas... all while enjoying live concerts in the green setting of the Ceineray basin.
