Hotel near the Nantes train station with soundproofed and air-conditioned rooms and a brasserie with local specialities.

Hotel Mercure is located on the southern square of Nantes station. There is no closer to the docks for a traveller in transit! With an extension of about thirty rooms, it faces a district in the making. The LU, the Funny Barge, the Little Bather, so many nice places to have a drink in front of it. Easy access to the airport shuttle, buses and trams makes it easy to get around quickly, and the historic city centre is only a few minutes' walk away. The soundproof and air-conditioned rooms have quality bedding. The place is entirely decorated in a contemporary spirit, very design and of a great sobriety. The hotel also has a brewery that offers local and regional specialities based on fresh produce.

Il y a un an que nous n’étions pas venus dans cet établissement et nous avons été fort déçus, tant par le service que la cuisine . Le prix des plats est excessif par rapport à leur qualité. Quand les produits à la carte sont disponibles. Quant au service il est d’une lenteur. De fait, trois desserts manqués pour le restaurant et autant de cafés.

Très beau cadre en cohérence avec le standing d'un hotel Mercure. cuisine correcte voir décevante sur le poisson (dos de cabillaud sans trop de saveur, brandade avec peu de saumon). Niveau service : personnel en formation et grosse déception lorsqu'on apprend qu'il n'y plus de st Jacques après avoir fait notre choix et qu'on voit la table d'à coté (pourtant arrivée après) se régaler avec.

restaurant très agréable, le service a été très bien fait. un peu déçue par l'entrée de gambas en revanche, le velouté de champignons tient toutes ses promesses.
