As you cross the threshold of this place designed by Jimi and Flore Dufief, you're drawn into a lively, friendly and warm atmosphere: there's no doubt about it, this is a real bistro! The decor is neat but unpretentious: wood, stone, frames all over the walls, mismatched crockery, just like home! The lunchtime menu includes a snack after 3pm, followed by planks and other sweets for the aperitif. Saturday night after 10pm, it's time to dance! Traditionally, a balthazar is a glass bottle containing the equivalent of 16 bottles... a fitting name for this generous bistro which, in addition to being a good restaurant promoting short circuits, also serves as a grocery store and wine cellar.
