Brunch and gastronomic cuisine with local products in a restaurant with a bar, bistro and terrace in front of the old Palais de Justice in Nantes.
Facing the former Courthouse and Carré Lafayette, this elegant neo-bistro perfectly combines minimalist chic with decorative style and a falsely traditional menu with gastronomic accents. We like the checkered shirts of the waiters and the (subtle!) variation of colours in each of the three rooms: the deep blue of the restaurant, the immaculate white of the bar and the saffron red of the bistro. As for the plates, Tanguy Rattier (former second in Atlantis) works and proposes a gourmet menu featuring local and seasonal products. Among the classic dishes reinvented by the young chef, we start with the classic organic snails from the Vendée countryside, raised and stuffed by M. Royer, or the most original sea bream tartar flavoured with passion-lime, lime, impregnable and rosemary flavours, before continuing with a tournedos of baked hake, Paimpol coconut, pata negra ham, lemon, capers or duck breast from Valteau beet pulp and crumble coffee, shiitaké and juice with pedro ximene... And to finish, you can enjoy a purely Nantes wink: "Le Petit Coiffard" (which is the 1st prize in the "Coiffard" bookstore competition): rum baba topped with a chocolate sphere topped with a creamy banana or the gourmet "Comme un donut au chocolat".... For those in a hurry, the bistro offers snacks with croq', foie gras or cheese platters. During the day, don't hesitate to come and have a drink and on Sundays, it's brunch day! We like the large terrace which offers a pleasant break in the heart of the city

Un accueil agréable, un service rapide malgré la forte influence et surtout des plats excellents tant gustativement que visuellement.
Super bon rapport qualité prix pour un menu Saint Valentin d’une telle qualité et en plus avec différents choix.
Petite mention spéciale à notre serveuse Lolo ( si je me souviens bien ) pour l’amour de son métier qu’elle transmet si bien à ses clients et se fut un réelle plaisir.
On m’a répondu que ce n’était pas possible.
Nous ne nous sommes pas mis côté restauration, mais bien dans un petit recoin pour ne pas gêner la fin de service au niveau du bar , au niveau du coin café et l’accueil n’a pas été à la hauteur de l’établissement. Froid, directif et ne pas vouloir nous servir.
Nous sommes donc parties car un simple café nous a été refusé.
Nous sommes donc assez déçus d’un tel accueil… je travaille dans la rue juste à côté , je ne reviendrai pas et privilégierai les autres cafés restaurants à l’avenir …
Réservation faite pour une heure tardive ( 14h ) fin de service donc pour le personnel qui nous l’a clairement fait comprendre.
Après une premiere sensation très prononcé de déranger et un bon moment d’attente on vient nous demander si nous savons ce que nous voulons…. SANS nous avoir ne serais ce que transmis les cartes justifié part : « à cette heure ci il n’y a pas de plat, ce ne sera que des tapas de toute façons » très bien merci mais donc si vous vous y rendez vous devrait donc être devin et jouer les médiums pour savoir quelles sont les tapas proposés… donc due insister pour disposer de celle ci.

Croque monsieur au saumon très très peu fourni et un coca que j’avais demandé zéro ramener en coca classique au passage…. ???? bilan 16€ ……..
Fin de scène nous allons payé, on nous a demandé si tout c’était bien passé ce à quoi mon amie a répondu « pas super bien non » et aucune réponse du personnel en face aucune interrogation, rien… ????
Bref nous n’y remettrons pas les pieds et très déçu au vue du standing et de la population du quartier.
