Rustic setting with terrace offering academic service, gourmet dishes with chef's specialties
It is priceless with its red facade on this great boulevard which runs along the Loire from Pirmil by going to San Sebastian. Inside, we discover a rustic setting: Waxed red walls, large cupboards, imposing caves, huge fireplace. We take preferably place in the room side of the window where you can guess the river. At the first rays of sunshine, the garden still prefers its large wooden terrace. Here the service is very academic (in butterfly node) and music in very classical sound background. Chef Christophe Fouré has been in the Left bank kitchens for over 15 years. He has worked in relais, starry houses… and offers gourmet dishes. Among its specialities: St. James and the Snowshoe hare, truffle and Foie gras. That day, on the map of entry: antan tomatoes, burrata, tomato sherbet: unfortunately without flavour. Followed by an excellent fish duet with new potatoes and mushrooms, spice wine sauce. Concluded with crispy chocolate peanuts (accompanied by tea ice) that could have won in lightness. The house also offers dining trays, cooking courses and also catering.
