POMME BÛCHE NANTES
Restaurant with terrace serving home-made Belgian-style fries in the historic Bouffay district.
Between two strolls through the historic Bouffay district, located between the Château des Ducs de Bretagne and the Eglise Sainte-Croix, if you're craving real Belgian or Northern French fries, Pomme Bûche is the place to go! Since 2022, we've been in the kingdom of Belgian-style French fries! In other words, large-caliber fries measuring around 15 x 15 mm, cut in the shape of "little logs", cooked in beef fat and double-boiled! This gives the fries a soft center and a crisp bite. This fast-food restaurant is served in trays on the spot, on a terrace overlooking the Sainte-Croix church, or in a picturesque cellar with exposed stonework, as is often the case in the medieval Bouffay district. Of course, you can also take these delicious fries to go. There's also a wide choice of homemade sauces: trapanese, pomme buche, tartar, chakchouka, chimichurri, cheddar or bleu d'Auvergne! and a wide choice of toppings to add to the fries! Everything here is homemade, and you can taste it! It's enough to keep us frying all day long. Open all day on Saturdays! Something for every budget and every appetite!
