With a warm welcome, this restaurant specialized in Portuguese cuisine in Nantes, offers gourmet and tasty dishes.
Casa Cruz is the new little corner of Portugal in Nantes. Located in the lively street of Marechal Joffre, not far from the place Saint-Pierre, Mickaël, of Portuguese origin, warmly welcomes us. His restaurant, halfway between street food (to take away) but where you can also sit quietly (20 seats), invites us to taste his Portuguese specialities. And it is the fabulous mix of his memories of vacations, childhood and family meals, combined with his passion for cooking and the art of receiving guests, that brings gourmets since the beginning of 2023 with its pretty wall of azulejos. We have Petiscos (tapas or appetizers) or Rissois (fritters): shrimp or suckling pig or the inevitable Pastels de Bacalhau, Portuguese cod acras. By 3, 6 or 9 or in assortment, there is something for every taste and appetite! And of course we come for the rotisserie, for the famous Portuguese chickens, marinated, browned and basted after cooking for a taste straight from Portugal. With the spicy Piri-Piri sauce as a potion, wonderfully enhancing the flavors of the dish. Bom Apetite!
