A restaurant serving fresh, hearty and tasty Portuguese cuisine in Nantes.
Originally from Portugal, Renato and Olga opened their Portuguese canteen to introduce the people of Nantes to their specialities, which are copious, tasty and sunny. It is the chaussée de la Madeleine where you can taste, on the spot or to take away, the famous Frango "Portuguese roast chicken", half or whole, the essential cod with cream and its chips in bacalhau com natas cubes, the grilled pork loin with orange cachaço grelhado a laranja, carne de porco alentejana (with clams) or the daily dish of Olga. The gourmands will opt for a pastéis de nata! The concept: a fresh, fast good cuisine. Renato claims one thing: "flavour-do"!

Renato tient vraiment parole. La cuisine qu'on mange à La Cantine Portuguaise est du pur saveur faire. A tester.
