LA GRUE JAUNE CREPERIE
Café-boutique-crêperie with a menu of crane, wine, soft drinks and hot beverages, to delight good eaters
The yellow crane, otherwise known as the Titan crane, didn't choose its name by chance. It evokes the power of the machine. Cédric Blondeel, a renowned photographer, is at the helm of this café-boutique-crêperie which celebrates the Nantes crane, the city's "Eiffel Tower". And that includes the food! The crane-maker's menu is sure to delight all good eaters. Like the galettes, including the excellent Andouille de Guémené, baked apples and curé nantais, a local cheese as famous as the crane. On the crêpe side, you'll love the banana, chocolate and hazelnut praline. Serve with a good organic cider or a Grue Jaune (blonde), Grue Grise (white) or Noire (brown) craft beer. The wine list includes a Grue Jaune Muscadet! Softs, aperitifs, digestifs and hot drinks. After dessert, a visit to the boutique is a must.
