At Comptoir de Jules, you'll be seated in a pretty, cosy room decorated in pink and pearl-grey. On the plate, you can choose from a menu of galettes and crêpes. These are divided into three categories: Au fil des saisons, les incontournables and les basiques. We fall for the Flamiche with its leek fondue and creamed bacon, or the Botanique with its aumônière of crushed artichokes, green olives and tomato confit velouté. On the sweet side, the Brazilian with homemade coffee cream beckons, as does the Régalade with apricot panna cotta, cherry coulis and speculoos crumbles. Gourmet and tasty, they're a pleasure to eat. A fine address offering excellent value for money.
