La Tan is the public transport network of the Nantes agglomeration which is, by the way, very well served! Do you travel every day? Opt for the Libertan card and its Unlimited Formula. With the Customized Formula, travel at your own pace. And for more occasional trips, m-Tickets are available from your smartphone. With a Tan ticket, you can access the entire Tan network: tramway, Busway, bus (except for the airport shuttle, which requires a specific ticket), Chronobus, Navibus, TER (regional express train) in the city's stations and even Aléop on certain lines. Most lines run between 5am and 12:30am. Night owls beware! Tan is also present with Tramway, Busway and Chronobus in night service mode until 2:30 am on Fridays and Saturdays. Want to take to the sea? Come aboard the Navibus. Destination Trentemoult from the Maritime Station or, new in 2020, to the Banana Shed from Bas-Chantenay. Enjoy a mini cruise, the banks of the Loire and its bars and restaurants. And by downloading the Klaxit app, discover the carpooling Tan, the urban carpooling integrated to the Tan network. Free for Unlimited Plans, at the price of a validation for Customized Plans and 2 € per trip for non Libertan subscribers. Since the beginning of the school year in 2021, the network is free on weekends, which is even more reason to enjoy the city! So, shall we take you along?

NAOLIB

Public transport

Naolib, the new name for getting around the city. The new transport brand for the Nantes conurbation is rolling out! It was launched in September 2023, but Libertan cards will continue to circulate until their expiry date. Naolib will supersede Tan, bringing together not only public transport, but also the Bicloo, NGE and Effia parking lots, car-sharing and the Marguerite car-sharing service. And without any steps. The new Naolib website is now online. The AlloTan service becomes AlloNaolib, to encompass all services and information on mobility in Nantes "or make an appointment for personalized advice". By 2025, the plan is to have a single application for taking the streetcar, unlocking a bike or a Marguerite car. A revolution!

ATELIER DU PIGNON

Getting around by bike

L'Atelier du Pignon, it's a beautiful Nantes initiative carried by the very serious Bureau d'études spatiales, since 2017. Volunteers intervene to help and train you to repair your bike independently. Attention: the motivated volunteers do not do it for us, they guide us to repair our two wheels. This open space around bike repair, mutual aid and learning teaches you how to take care of your two wheels, whether they are broken, damaged or just need a makeover. Tools, bike parts and small consumables are at your disposal to repair and customize your bikes. L'Atelier du Pignon is also a bike sales area. How can I participate in the Atelier du Pignon? It's simple: you register by e-mail and you join the association with a modest annual fee. This one varies according to our incomes. If the repair is too complex, the Atelier du Pignon directs you towards other structures. Finally, we keep up to date thanks to the regularly updated websites.
