Railway station Nantes

The Nantes train station stands out with its magnificent mezzanine linking the north to the south by flying over the tracks. A true functional multimodal platform, it is the nerve center of regional transportation with the ambition of increasing from 12 million passengers per year to 25 million by 2030. Nantes is currently the leading train station in the region and the sixth in France. It serves the main French cities. TGV connections also link it to the seaside resorts, while TER and Tram-trains serve the surrounding towns. Several bus stops are located in the southern square. It is possible to eat in one of the many shops of the station.

Nantes is an important entry point to Brittany, especially for those coming from the south or the Iberian Peninsula. Currently under renovation, the station has two entrances, one to the north and one to the south. The center is accessible thanks to the tramway that runs along the old river course, the former LU factory, the Dukes of Brittany castle... Formerly located next door, the bus station is now on the route de Paris. Access is by streetcar, Halluchère stop. On the north side, the garden of plants is a beautiful place to stroll while waiting for your train.
