L'EPICURIEN DE L'ABBAYE DE VILLENEUVE
A gourmet restaurant offering hearty, tasty breakfasts and lunches prepared by the chef.
L'Épicurien is the gastronomic restaurant of the Abbey of Villeneuve. The establishment, with its remarkable setting, which dates back to the 13th century, has undergone a two-year renovation. Its chef, Aymeric Depogny, recently awarded a star, worked at the Loiseau house. His menu honors the Nantes region, in direct contact with local producers. For lunch, the 1201 menu is a nod to the year the abbey was founded. With the 5 or 6-course menus, the chef guides you through his culinary pleasures. Pleasures that can start early in the morning with a hearty and tasty breakfast or later in the evening with the cocktail of the week served at the bar. The hotel offers 4-star rooms. The other restaurant, the brasserie with its Grand Palais style glass roof, offers a view of the hotel's swimming pool and the park. A singular, chic and elegant place.
