BENOIST MUSEUM - FOREST HOUSE
Its massive presence at the north end of the grand-rue du Gâvre. In close proximity, a building of the walls of the walls is crushed with granite, topped with a triangular roof, with two large net chimneys, one of which is decorated with a turret. It is the Benoist House dating back to the th century. It houses a museum dedicated to the ancient beech forest of Du, around which the entire economy of the country was organized: collection, hunting, bûcheronnage, manufacturing hooves and old techniques of wood use. A new room is dedicated to the history of the Gâvre forest. The museum also features interactive animations for a playful approach to children for 3 years. The hotel also offers nature trips adapted to the general public, to discover the forest at night, reptiles, deer… note that it is certified Quality Tourism.
