Chic and cosy restaurant offering fresh seasonal cuisine in the heart of La Plaine-sur-Mer.
This is Emmanuel and Karine Jaunet's second restaurant; the other is in Sautron. As its name suggests, Au Retour du Marché offers fresh, seasonal cuisine. We love the chic, cosy setting as much as the cuisine. With the return of the market and the chef's imagination, the dishes are constantly changing, with a predominance of fish: scallop carpaccio with butternut and citrus fruits, then hake with seaweed cooked at low temperature, sautéed noodles with Asian notes, and for dessert, black olive mousse, lemon sorbet and almond panacotta.

Equipe très sympathique et bon déjeuner. Mais les prix me semblent très élevés pour un midi. Nous avons prix un menu opportunités à 27€ (mais sans pouvoir choisir entre par exemple viande ou poisson) et un menu du marché à 39€. J'ai connus ce restaurant quand il était à Sautron et j'y allais régulièrement. Même si c'était très bon, à ce prix peu de chance que j'y retourne. J'habite Nantes et j'espérais retrouver la magie de l'ancien restaurant.

Une cuisine délicieuse dans un cadre calme et un service agréable. Le petit plus un gâteau d'anniversaire pour la table et un conseil avisé pour le vin . Un très bon moment que nous renouvellerons.
