LEMONGRASS FIELD
Located on the municipalities of Gétigné and Clisson, this 13-hectare landscaped park is an essential step if you stay in the nantes vineyard. A former seigneurial hunting reserve, the Garenne was purchased by the sculptor Lemot (sculptor of Napoleon) in 1805 and rearranged in the "English" romantic garden in its lower part along the Sèvre Nantaise. A tour of ornamental "factories" evokes antiquity, arts and local history. In the upper part, you can discover the house of Garinier (current park reception) with its rustic Italian architecture, ancient inspiration used as the base of landscape funds for classical painting. To see also, Villa Lemot, a neoclassical villa with a terrace overlooking the city's landscape. All the monuments listed below are part of the Garenne-Lemot Park. (see also Clisson).

A l'ombre des grands arbres qui ont vu défiler les années et au bord de l'eau pour la fraicheur.

Agréable l'été par forte chaleur pour se rafraichir. Visite à l'intérieur d'une majestueuse demeure de style Italien. Beaucoup d'expositions et manifestations. Très belle vue sur Clisson ,le château et la Sèvre Entrée gratuite.
Calme et reposant, bien entretenu, belle ballade romantique dans le parc.
