In the center of the Carquefood Eating Hall, sits the Forty Eight bar. This beer and wine bar is the project of Elliott, Killian and Caroline, a couple in town. Together, they make this friendly place live around a nice selection of beers and wines. Blonde, amber, white or brown beers, in draught or in bottle... There is something for everyone! For the wine, Elliott and Caroline work with the wine merchant of Carquefou to propose French wines among which are the unavoidable Saint-Emilion, Quincy, Côtes-de-Bourg, but also international wines, like this Nero d'Avola Sicilia, the Malbec from Argentina, the Shiraz Cabernet from Australia... Among the wines of local producers, the Domaine des Génaudières figures prominently. There is also a wide selection of softs and hot drinks. For the anecdote, the 48 is a reference to a model of a famous brand of motorcycle which is one of Elliott's passions.
