Grandselve Abbey is located in the commune of Bouillac. Founded in 1114, under the reign of Louis VI, the abbey reached its peak in the 13th century. It belonged to the Cîteaux order. Today, its splendor is a thing of the past. It is necessary to discover this abbey which knew in its time a considerable influence. Excavation campaigns, led in particular by Daniel Cazes in 1970, have made it possible to better understand it.
