Warm, well-equipped and very functional gite with a breathtaking view of the surrounding hills.

Not far from Durfort-Lacapelette, here is a magnificent pigeon house adjoining the farm, renovated and converted into a warm gîte by Solange and Francis. During a stopover between Lauzerte and Moissac, you can enjoy the rest by the pool as much as the good products of the region. We booked the grey-purple room with a breathtaking view of the surrounding hills. The whole is very well equipped and very functional, allowing a pleasant stay in all independence.

Merci à Solange pour son accueil très chaleureux. Le gite offre un agréable confort, dans un environnement qui invite la quiétude. J'en garde déjà un très bon souvenir, et ne manquerais pas de m'arrêter si je passe à nouveau par cette belle adresse.

Début octobre 2017 j'y ai séjourné 1 nuit, sur le chemin de St Jacques, sur réservation. A l'arrivée le local était froid ( sans doute environ 18°C; il sévissait une brume pluvieuse depuis 2 jours ) et j'ai dû insister avec insistance auprès de la propriétaire pour avoir du chauffage, celle-ci prétextant que j'étais seulement exténué par la marche du jour. L'ensemble du local pullule +++ partout de punaises ( de type standard, pas de lit ). C'en est véritablement ecoeurant ! La propriétaire refuse de traiter cette colonisation animale par esprit écologique, attendant que le froid de l'hiver les fasse disparaître ( sic ). La "gestion de la cuisine" ( sic ) coûte 1 euro/pers/jour, ce qui a été une découverte. La carafe de vin se paye de la main à la main. Bon courage
