Musée du Verre (Glass Museum) in Sorèze, presenting a collection of antique glass and offering guided tours and lectures.
The former house of the Natural Park of the Haut Languedoc now houses the Glass Museum of Sorèze. You will discover a collection of ancient glasses, the majority of which come from excavations carried out on the oppidum of Berniquaut. These objects tell the story of the establishment of the glass industry in the South of France from Antiquity to the present day. The association of the Friends of Sorèze - at the origin of this museum - also proposes guided walks and conferences. The exhibition 2023 is dedicated to unusual glassworks, both fantasy and scientific.
