TERROÏKO

Located at the foot of the Black Mountain in Sorèze, after an incubation period in Revel, this start-up defines itself as an innovative company in ecological engineering. Catherine de Roincé and Sylvain Moulhérat, both doctors of ecology, design products and services dedicated to biodiversity stakeholders. TerreOïko, which translates as "territory and place of life", has designed Simoïko, an ecological modelling platform for biodiversity management. It is based on scientific data concerning the lives of many species - deer, wild boar, squirrel, hedgehog, frog, butterfly, owl... By simulating their habits - reproduction, movements.... - on digitized landscapes, Simoïko makes it possible to measure the impact of human life or the installation of future equipment or infrastructure in their environment.
