Located between Gaillac and Lisle-sur-Tarn, this 17th century château is a quality wine production site. Passed down from generation to generation within the Faramond family, Château Lastours is now in the hands of Louis, an agricultural engineer, who is responsible for perpetuating the heritage of his ancestors. Within its 60 hectares of vineyards, it produces a range of red, white and rosé wines that are renowned and regularly awarded medals in national and regional competitions.

Nous avons réservé une visite du domaine avec une dégustation via le site « rue des vignerons » et avons passé un excellent moment.
Lorelei est une excellente guide et connaît parfaitement l’histoire du château et du domaine. La dégustation finale est très complète, avec la possibilité de goûter toute la gamme de vin.
Je recommande vivement si vous passez dans la région.

Wonderful experience at this winery located in a quaint little town Lisle-Sur Tarn about an hour fromToulouse by train. A 5 kilometer walk along the quiet country side trails was enchanting !. Our guide Caroline at the winery was very knowledgeable and enthusiastically explained history of the castle, the vineyards, and covered the entire process of winemaking from wine yards to bottling. Had a good tasting session of various wines. Also present diligently with us during the tour was "Oma", a German shepherd from the winery, at times seemed to set the tour sequence right and also escorted us almost 3 kilometers on our way back ! We then had to reluctantly inform Caroline to
take Oma back to her home.
