The famous Oberti salting house opens a museum dedicated to Lacaune hams

The famous Oberti salting house has opened a museum dedicated to Lacaune hams. Every stage of the production process is presented on site. The tour takes you through a drying room containing 12,000 hams, where the aromas will tickle your nostrils. Old machines and objects from the past will be detailed throughout the tour. A video on the company's other activities will be shown, including a slicing demonstration by the master cured ham maker. Finally, a tasting of the company's specialties will be organized in the sales boutique.

Magasin qui donne envie de manger de la charcutaille. Si vous passez par Lacaune, allez visiter la fabrication de charcuterie et ne loupez pas le magasin pour faire le plein. Merci pour votre parking camping car. Nous avons passé la nuit.
