The famous Oberti salting house has opened a museum dedicated to Lacaune hams. Every stage of the production process is presented on site. The tour takes you through a drying room containing 12,000 hams, where the aromas will tickle your nostrils. Old machines and objects from the past will be detailed throughout the tour. A video on the company's other activities will be shown, including a slicing demonstration by the master cured ham maker. Finally, a tasting of the company's specialties will be organized in the sales boutique.
