Museum presenting the traditional know-how of the textile industry from the century to the present day

In the buildings of the former Armengaud textile factory dating from 1880, this space presents the traditional know-how of the textile industry from the 19th century to the present day. We discover the production line, from the thread to the fabric. Demonstrations on sample frames and looms, old equipment still in operation, temporary exhibitions and creative workshops complete the tour through the discovery of weaving techniques from around the world.

A visiter absolument
Si vous voulez connaitre l'histoire de l'industrie textile locale, il faut absolument visiter ce musée. Les expos temporaires sont spectaculaires et de qualité

Très intéressant musée du textile où l'on peut voir des expositions temporaires (costumes de théâtre lors de notre visite) et asssiter à des démonstrations sur les machines d'époque. Le personnel nous fait partager sa passion pour ces métiers disparus et sur l'histoire industrielle et sociale de cette ville et de la région.
Un agréable moment, compter entre une heure trente et deux heures pour bien apprécier la visite.
