Built in the 17th century on a plan inspired by the Villa d'Este, Château de Foucaud is home to the Musée des Beaux-Arts. Its 4-hectare wooded park is freely accessible and blends Italian and French styles, with perspectives, terraces, fountains, an orangery and a cool pavilion. It is one of the largest 18th-century gardens in the South of France, and one of the few to have virtually preserved its original layout. With its rose garden, it remains one of the city's most beautiful sites.
