This place characterizes the rehabilitation of the city centre of Castres. Porphyry spit replaced tar and car parking gave way to trees and flower planters. The austerity of the neoclassical façade of Hotel Pereire contrasts with the contemporary architecture of the National Centre and the Museum Jean Jaurès. A little detour through the rue des Capitouls and that of the Consulate allows you to admire the Gothic facade of the ancient diocese of Castres.
