The Hotel des Consuls, under the arcades of Castelnau-de-Montmiral, is a magnificent place. Nothing more obvious for this beautiful medieval house of the th century, to be located in one of the most beautiful villages of France. A former hotel, hosted by Hélène and Marc Gaudechon, this establishment, classified Logis de France, is one of the vestiges of medieval times. All of the stones are apparent and have high-notch arches, and they dominate the village. The rooms, which breathe calm and authenticity, have a great comfort and a modern and antique decoration. Some have retained their French ceilings and their time chimneys. The staff were friendly and helpful. In the inner courtyard, close to the swimming pool, a welcoming and peaceful terrace where you can enjoy in all peace of mind a good book or cocktail with only a few beautiful olive trees.
