Castle-museum being the birthplace of the romantic poet Maurice de Guérin, where you can visit a museum dedicated to his life and work
The birthplace of Romantic poet Maurice de Guérin, a traditional Languedoc manor house dating from the 15th and 18th centuries, stands on a 27-hectare vineyard estate. It is now a departmental museum dedicated to the tormented life and work of the poet and his sister Eugénie. The latter's diary evokes daily rural life in the Tarn in the 19th century. Brother and sister corresponded extensively. Eugénie encouraged her brother to turn to poetry at an early age. Cultural events also take place at the château.
