FERME DE CAUSSENS
La Ferme de Caussens, in Montagnac-sur-Auvignon, Lot-et-Garonne, is a place steeped in history. Philippe and Marie-José warmly welcome you to this hunting lodge built by Henri IV. Breeders of lamb and wild boar, as well as cereal growers, they will show you around their estate in the heart of the Albret region. The estate's imposing buildings give it a singular charm. You can stay in one of the two gîtes with swimming pool, rated 3 épis. One sleeps up to 7 people and has a rustic feel with its large stone fireplace, while the other, for 6 people, combines modernity with the spirit of yesteryear. Guests can also enjoy fresh fruit and vegetables from the kitchen garden. The farm also offers two beautifully restored rooms for group events. Farm products include lamb caissettes and wild boar pâté.
