What's more, the historic setting of the bastide town of Monflanquin lends itself well to such an event, now in its 32nd year. Camelots, minstrels, parades through the alleyways, banquets, song and dance: the whole village gives the impression of having travelled back in time to the Middle Ages, taking you along with it.
