Fish specialties and other home-made Perigordian dishes made with fresh products: that's what awaits you!

Since 1989, Stéphane and Françoise have been running Le Jardin in this pretty 13th century half-timbered house... without a garden! The name evokes the vegetables that Stéphane cooks and that Françoise will bring you with a smile. Beautiful specialties from Périgord and fish have made the reputation of the place. Everything is homemade with fresh and seasonal products: foie gras, duck breast with cep sauce, gravlax and a plate of smoked fish... To finish ? Chocolate fondant, lemon and raspberry shortbread or roasted apricots with honey. Only good stuff!

Après avoir cherché un long moment un restaurant bien noté et surtout ouvert en ce dimanche soir de fin août , nous avons décidé de partir à « l’aventure » et de voir sur place, direction la place de monflanquin et la 2 restos ouvert un du genre un peu « brasserie » et l’autre qui semble bien cosy et charmant , nous avons choisi le 2nd Biensure et de suite un très bon accueil, des serveurs qui maîtrisent clairement leur carte et plats et, que dire de la cuisine délicieuse…. Vraiment un régal dans ce cadre fort sympathique avec un personnel au top, nous n’hésiterons pas à revenir lors d’un prochain séjour.
