With its height and its imposing bell, it seems unalterable. Yet St. Stephen's Church has experienced disarray. She was erected in 1307 before being burned by Protestants in 1569. A destruction that signed the beginning of a chaotic destiny, marked by constructions and numerous looting. From its turbulent history, there is a retable in golden wood and baptismal funds dating back to the eighteenth century… and a gross splendor.
