Philippe Daunis is one of Tarbes' most famous personalities. With his horses Cooper and César, he will take you on board his carriage for a one-hour tour of the city, starting from the Place Jean Jaurès in summer or from the Jardin Massey. In winter, Philippe is also present on Wednesdays and Sundays and during the vacations. From April to October, he proposes you to picnic in his carriage. Lunch is prepared by a Tarbais restaurant owner and you can enjoy delicious duck breasts or duck confit and sautéed potatoes, while roaming the city!

Opening time and information on CARRIAGE RIDES

From mid-April to the end of June, walks on Wednesday and Sunday from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, every day during school vacations. From the end of June to mid-September, every day from 2 pm to 8 pm except Wednesday. Low season: open on Wednesday and Sunday from 2 to 6 pm. High season: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday to Saturday from 2 to 6 pm. Departure from the town hall square in high season; from the Massey garden in low season. Adult : 5 €. Children (up to 12 years old) : 3 €. Picnic in carriage, on reservation : 30 €. Children welcome. Guided tour.
